who says to a king, ‘Worthless man’ and to nobles, ‘Wicked men,’

But now, the sun cannot be looked at – it is bright in the skies – after a wind passed and swept the clouds away.

She is harsh with her young, as if they were not hers; she is unconcerned about the uselessness of her labor.

They are destroyed between morning and evening; they perish forever without anyone regarding it.

“Therefore, blessed is the man whom God corrects, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

He leans against his house but it does not hold up, he takes hold of it but it does not stand.

Nor is there an arbiter between us, who might lay his hand on us both,

He deprives the trusted advisers of speech and takes away the discernment of elders.

“But turn, all of you, and come now! I will not find a wise man among you.

“If I cry out, ‘Violence!’ I receive no answer; I cry for help, but there is no justice.

They reap fodder in the field, and glean in the vineyard of the wicked.

if the members of my household have never said, ‘If only there were someone who has not been satisfied from Job’s meat!’ –

I will not show partiality to anyone, nor will I confer a title on any man.

Indeed, God is mighty; and he does not despise people, he is mighty, and firm in his intent.

Who has prescribed his ways for him? Or said to him, ‘You have done what is wicked’?

Do you know about the balancing of the clouds, that wondrous activity of him who is perfect in knowledge?
