Whenever you enter a house, first say, ‘May peace be on this house!’

What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? Absolutely not!

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks!

Listen to what they are saying to me. They are saying, “Where are the things the Lord threatens us with? Come on! Let’s see them happen!”

What I am saying with this boastful confidence I do not say the way the Lord would. Instead it is, as it were, foolishness.

So they sent word to Joseph, saying, “Your father gave these instructions before he died:

So the Jewish leaders began to say, “Perhaps he is going to kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going you cannot come.’”

And I know that his commandment is eternal life. Thus the things I say, I say just as the Father has told me.”

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I do not need you,” nor in turn can the head say to the foot, “I do not need you.”

So the people murmured against Moses, saying, “What can we drink?”

Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me. I, even I, will explain what I know.’

“Therefore, the Lord who rules over all says, ‘You have not listened to what I said.

“Moreover, the Lord who rules over all says: ‘Pay close attention to these things also.

and saying, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself!”
