They told him, “Joseph is still alive and he is ruler over all the land of Egypt!” Jacob was stunned, for he did not believe them.

So Israel began his journey, taking with him all that he had. When he came to Beer Sheba he offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.

but when I rest with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place.” Joseph said, “I will do as you say.”

He made an atonement lid of pure gold; its length was three feet nine inches, and its width was two feet three inches.

He overlaid it with pure gold – its top, its four walls, and its horns – and he made a surrounding border of gold for it.

You can present them to the Lord as an offering of first fruit, but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.

Then Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.”

This is the law of the land animals, the birds, all the living creatures that move in the water, and all the creatures that swarm on the land,
