So Abram moved his tents and went to live by the oaks of Mamre in Hebron, and he built an altar to the Lord there.

At that time Abimelech and Phicol, the commander of his army, said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do.

“I am a temporary settler among you. Grant me ownership of a burial site among you so that I may bury my dead.”

Then Pharaoh summoned Joseph. So they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; he shaved himself, changed his clothes, and came before Pharaoh.

Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, but without your permission no one will move his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Take double the money with you; you must take back the money that was returned in the mouths of your sacks – perhaps it was an oversight.

When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore to you and to your fathers, and gives it to you,

In the abundance of your majesty you have overthrown those who rise up against you. You sent forth your wrath; it consumed them like stubble.

and all the people answered together, “All that the Lord has commanded we will do!” So Moses brought the words of the people back to the Lord.

and be ready for the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

The Lord said to Moses, “Go down and solemnly warn the people, lest they force their way through to the Lord to look, and many of them perish.

You are to put the atonement lid on top of the ark, and in the ark you are to put the testimony I am giving you.
