Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.

In the same way therefore not one of you can be my disciple if he does not renounce all his own possessions.

For a while he refused, but later on he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor have regard for people,

For I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You withdraw what you did not deposit and reap what you did not sow.’

“As for these things that you are gazing at, the days will come when not one stone will be left on another. All will be torn down!”

For this is certain: The days are coming when they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore children, and the breasts that never nursed!’

So they asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not!” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No!”

The woman replied, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “Right you are when you said, ‘I have no husband,’

nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.

The one who belongs to God listens and responds to God’s words. You don’t listen and respond, because you don’t belong to God.”

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; no one will snatch them from my hand.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. But they no longer have any excuse for their sin.

So Pilate said, “Do you refuse to speak to me? Don’t you know I have the authority to release you, and to crucify you?”

You have no share or part in this matter because your heart is not right before God!

Paul replied, “I did not realize, brothers, that he was the high priest, for it is written, ‘You must not speak evil about a ruler of your people.’”

but someone is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart by the Spirit and not by the written code. This person’s praise is not from people but from God.

For I don’t understand what I am doing. For I do not do what I want – instead, I do what I hate.

As he also says in Hosea: “I will call those who were not my people, ‘My people,’ and I will call her who was unloved, ‘My beloved.’”

How are they to call on one they have not believed in? And how are they to believe in one they have not heard of? And how are they to hear without someone preaching to them?
