He also said, “The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

And when the grain is ripe, he sends in the sickle because the harvest has come.”

He did not let anyone follow him except Peter, James, and John, the brother of James.

He said to them, “Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave the area.

Immediately he got into a boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha.

Regaining his sight he said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking.”

(For he knew that the chief priests had handed him over because of envy.)

When some of the bystanders heard it they said, “Listen, he is calling for Elijah!”

Jesus went out again by the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.

While they were eating, he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it. This is my body.”

Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”

He strictly ordered that no one should know about this, and told them to give her something to eat.

Then he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for people, not people for the Sabbath.

So he called them and spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?

Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and they will mislead many.

So Pilate asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” He replied, “You say so.”

So he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up among all these people.”

And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.
