“‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt, by the hand of King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon.

In the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me:

I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them among foreign countries. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

In the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me:

“‘For this is what the sovereign Lord says: “‘The sword of the king of Babylon will attack you.

Then I will make their waters calm, and will make their streams flow like olive oil, declares the sovereign Lord.

In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me:

“‘For this is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I myself will search for my sheep and seek them out.

And you, my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are my people, and I am your God, declares the sovereign Lord.’”

I will lay waste your cities; and you will become desolate. Then you will know that I am the Lord!

I will turn you into a perpetual desolation, and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

This is what the sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him, “Sovereign Lord, you know.”

This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath into you and you will live.

Then you will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and raise you from your graves, my people.

Then, when my sanctuary is among them forever, the nations will know that I, the Lord, sanctify Israel.’”

and say: ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: Look, I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

I will call for a sword to attack Gog on all my mountains, declares the sovereign Lord; every man’s sword will be against his brother.

I will exalt and magnify myself; I will reveal myself before many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’

You will fall dead in the open field; for I have spoken, declares the sovereign Lord.
