You must not slash your body for a dead person or incise a tattoo on yourself. I am the Lord.

You must stand up in the presence of the aged, honor the presence of an elder, and fear your God. I am the Lord.

You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations. I am the Lord.’”

and so cause them to incur a penalty for guilt when they eat their holy offerings, for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

On that very day it must be eaten; you must not leave any part of it over until morning. I am the Lord.

You must not profane my holy name, and I will be sanctified in the midst of the Israelites. I am the Lord who sanctifies you,

the one who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God. I am the Lord.”

“‘These are the Lord’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you must proclaim at their appointed time.

and he must wave the sheaf before the Lord to be accepted for your benefit – on the day after the Sabbath the priest is to wave it.

On the ceremonially pure lampstand he must arrange the lamps before the Lord continually.

and you must set them in two rows, six in a row, on the ceremonially pure table before the Lord.

There will be one regulation for you, whether a foreigner or a native citizen, for I am the Lord your God.’”

No one is to oppress his fellow citizen, but you must fear your God, because I am the Lord your God.

These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses to tell the Israelites at Mount Sinai.

The Israelites did according to all that the Lord commanded Moses – that is what they did.

But the Levites were not numbered among the other Israelites, as the Lord commanded Moses.

Now these are the records of Aaron and Moses when the Lord spoke with Moses on Mount Sinai.

So Moses numbered all the firstborn males among the Israelites, as the Lord had commanded him.
