And throw that worthless slave into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

The woman was a Greek, of Syrophoenician origin. She asked him to cast the demon out of her daughter.

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

Jesus sent him home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.”

For what benefit is it for a person to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his life?

Have you not read this scripture: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

The one on the roof must not come down or go inside to take anything out of his house.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect.

But some who were present indignantly said to one another, “Why this waste of expensive ointment?
