for they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him,

So he stayed there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

When they asked him to stay longer, he would not consent,

Many of those who had believed came forward, confessing and making their deeds known.

But when Paul wanted to enter the public assembly, the disciples would not let him.
