Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, for all live before him.”

and were continually in the temple courts blessing God.

A man came, sent from God, whose name was John.

I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God.”

Gazing at Jesus as he walked by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!”

The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful.

but I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you.

So then they said to him, “What must we do to accomplish the deeds God requires?”

We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God!”

If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

For they loved praise from men more than praise from God.

If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him right away.

Thomas replied to him, “My Lord and my God!”

This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it.

All the people saw him walking and praising God,

for they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,

But the crowd began to shout, “The voice of a god, and not of a man!”

From the descendants of this man God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised.

but the one whom God raised up did not experience decay.

So he stayed there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
