They were amazed at his teaching, because he spoke with authority.

They replied, “The Lord needs it.”

because these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.

When they sprout leaves, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near.

For if such things are done when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

and saying, “The Lord has really risen, and has appeared to Simon!”

For we have all received from his fullness one gracious gift after another.

I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God.”

Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’

The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful.
