So when Joseph and Mary had performed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.

So Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years old. He was the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,

A disciple is not greater than his teacher, but everyone when fully trained will be like his teacher.

He sent messengers on ahead of him. As they went along, they entered a Samaritan village to make things ready in advance for him,

Woe to you! You are like unmarked graves, and people walk over them without realizing it!”

I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me like one of your hired workers.”’

“Simon, Simon, pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,

He is not here, but has been raised! Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,

Then they told what had happened on the road, and how they recognized him when he broke the bread.

So when the Samaritans came to him, they began asking him to stay with them. He stayed there two days,

When they were all satisfied, Jesus said to his disciples, “Gather up the broken pieces that are left over, so that nothing is wasted.”

So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he remained in the place where he was for two more days.

So when Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary was sitting in the house.

So when Jesus said to them, “I am he,” they retreated and fell to the ground.

But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs.

But Mary stood outside the tomb weeping. As she wept, she bent down and looked into the tomb.

When they got out on the beach, they saw a charcoal fire ready with a fish placed on it, and bread.

In spite of what you think, these men are not drunk, for it is only nine o’clock in the morning.

But many of those who had listened to the message believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand.

After an interval of about three hours, his wife came in, but she did not know what had happened.
