Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?

Come now, you rich! Weep and cry aloud over the miseries that are coming on you.

You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.

Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land sprouted with a harvest.

You have purified your souls by obeying the truth in order to show sincere mutual love. So love one another earnestly from a pure heart.

Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.

For in the same way the holy women who hoped in God long ago adorned themselves by being subject to their husbands,

For thus an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be richly provided for you.

And many will follow their debauched lifestyles. Because of these false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.

The one who loves his fellow Christian resides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

Now this is the promise that he himself made to us: eternal life.

They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world’s perspective and the world listens to them.

The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.

We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

because of the truth that resides in us and will be with us forever.

who then testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about Jesus Christ.

Then when the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!”

Then when the Lamb opened the fourth seal I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come!”

because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to withstand it?”
