So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, look, here is your son!”

He then said to his disciple, “Look, here is your mother!” From that very time the disciple took her into his own home.

Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, came in, and he saw and believed.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. Just as the Father has sent me, I also send you.”

(Now Jesus said this to indicate clearly by what kind of death Peter was going to glorify God.) After he said this, Jesus told Peter, “Follow me.”

Jesus replied, “If I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours? You follow me!”

Thus one of the men who have accompanied us during all the time the Lord Jesus associated with us,

For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says, ‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand

God raised up his servant and sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities.”

But Peter and John replied, “Whether it is right before God to obey you rather than God, you decide,

The next day Moses saw two men fighting, and tried to make peace between them, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers; why are you hurting one another?’

This is the Moses who said to the Israelites, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.’

“Look!” he said. “I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Then he fell to his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he died.

saying, “Give me this power too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Now as they were going along the road, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look, there is water! What is to stop me from being baptized?”

About three o’clock one afternoon he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God who came in and said to him, “Cornelius.”

So Peter invited them in and entertained them as guests. On the next day he got up and set out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.

So when Peter came in, Cornelius met him, fell at his feet, and worshiped him.
