Regaining his sight he said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking.”

Jesus sent him home, saying, “Do not even go into the village.”

They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of dismissal and to divorce her.”

They were even more astonished and said to one another, “Then who can be saved?”

Jesus said to them, “Have faith in God.

Jesus began to say to them, “Watch out that no one misleads you.

For they said, “Not during the feast, so there won’t be a riot among the people.”

They were distressed, and one by one said to him, “Surely not I?”

When Judas arrived, he went up to Jesus immediately and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed him.

When some of the bystanders heard it they said, “Listen, he is calling for Elijah!”

Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied,

So the crowds were asking him, “What then should we do?”

Tax collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, “Teacher, what should we do?”

Then he said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.”

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do what I tell you?

What did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

But Jesus gently took her by the hand and said, “Child, get up.”

But he forcefully commanded them not to tell this to anyone,

Whenever you enter a house, first say, ‘May peace be on this house!’

He then told them a parable: “The land of a certain rich man produced an abundant crop,
