Then he called the crowd again and said to them, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

And Jesus ordered them, “Watch out! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod!”

He told them, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”

He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,

But Jesus said to them, “He wrote this commandment for you because of your hard hearts.

So he told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

Some people standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying that colt?”

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus into their hands.

He said to them, “It is one of the twelve, one who dips his hand with me into the bowl.

He said to them, “This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, that is poured out for many.

He said to them, “My soul is deeply grieved, even to the point of death. Remain here and stay alert.”

Jesus said to them, “Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw?

So Pilate asked them, “Do you want me to release the king of the Jews for you?”

Pilate asked them, “Why? What has he done wrong?” But they shouted more insistently, “Crucify him!”

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were absolutely terrified.

When they saw him, they related what they had been told about this child,

So he stood over her, commanded the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.

He also told them a parable: “Someone who is blind cannot lead another who is blind, can he? Won’t they both fall into a pit?

Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one what had happened.
