So Moses instructed the Israelites to observe the Passover.

This was the first time they set out on their journey according to the commandment of the Lord, by the authority of Moses.

When the Israelites would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone, Moses would put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with the Lord.

Moses the Lord’s servant passed on the Lord’s commands to Joshua, and Joshua did as he was told. He did not ignore any of the commands the Lord had given Moses.

When some shepherds came and drove them away, Moses came up and defended them and then watered their flock.
