Surely the king’s authority is absolute; no one can say to him, “What are you doing?”

Surely no one knows the future, and no one can tell another person what will happen.

“Who is this who appears like the dawn? Beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awe-inspiring as the stars in procession?”

When you enter my presence, do you actually think I want this – animals trampling on my courtyards?
