So Saul said to his servants, “Find me a man who plays well and bring him to me.”

When Saul’s servants reported what David had said,

She arose, bowed her face toward the ground, and said, “Your female servant, like a lowly servant, will wash the feet of the servants of my lord.”

So Achish trusted David, thinking to himself, “He is really hated among his own people in Israel! From now on he will be my servant.”

She brought it to Saul and his servants, and they ate. Then they arose and left that same night.
