<p class="poetry">Deliver us, O <sc>Lordsc>, our God!p> <p class="poetry">Gather us from among the nations!p> <p class="poetry">Then we will give thanks<n id="1" /> to your holy name,p> <p class="poetry">and boast about your praiseworthy deeds.<n id="2" />p>

<p class="poetry">The tribes go up<n id="1" /> there,<n id="2" />p> <p class="poetry">the tribes of the <sc>Lordsc>,p> <p class="poetry">where it is required that Israelp> <p class="poetry">give thanks to the name of the <sc>Lordsc>.<n id="3" />p>

Joining them were Heman, Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the <sc>Lordsc>. (For his loyal love endures!)<n id="1" />

The priests stood in their assigned spots, along with the Levites who had the musical instruments used for praising the <sc>Lordsc>.<n id="1" /> (These were the ones King David made for giving thanks to the <sc>Lordsc> and which were used by David when he offered praise, saying, &#8220;Certainly his loyal love endures.&#8221;)<n id="2" /> Opposite the Levites,<n id="3" /> the priests were blowing the trumpets, while all Israel stood there.
