he is a diseased man. He is unclean. The priest must surely pronounce him unclean because of his infection on his head. ¹ 

but he must not go into the veil-canopy ¹  or step forward to the altar because he has a physical flaw. Thus ²  he must not profane my holy places, for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

If there is something on the bed or on the furniture she sits on, ¹  when he touches it ²  he will be unclean until evening,

but then ¹  he may go free, ²  he and his children with him, and may return to his family and to the property of his ancestors. ³ 

But if he does not wash his clothes ¹  and does not bathe his body, he will bear his punishment for iniquity.’” ² 

“When he has finished purifying the holy place, ¹  the Meeting Tent, and the altar, he is to present the live goat.

or a man who touches a swarming thing by which he becomes unclean, ¹  or touches a person ²  by which he becomes unclean, whatever that person’s impurity ³  –

He must not go where there is any dead person; ¹  he must not defile himself even for his father and his mother.

He must be with you as a hired worker, as a resident foreigner; ¹  he must serve with you until the year of jubilee,

“‘If he cannot afford ¹  two turtledoves or two young pigeons, ²  he must bring as his offering for his sin which he has committed ³  a tenth of an ephah ⁴  of choice wheat flour ⁵  for a sin offering. He must not place olive oil on it and he must not put frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.

He then presented the burnt offering, and did it according to the standard regulation. ¹ 

He then set the breastpiece ¹  on him and put the Urim and Thummim ²  into the breastpiece.

“He will then make one of the turtledoves ¹  or young pigeons, which are within his means, ² 

So the priest will make atonement ¹  on his behalf before the Lord and he will be forgiven ²  for whatever he has done to become guilty.” ³ 

He must not marry ¹  a widow, a divorced woman, or one profaned by prostitution; he may only take a virgin from his people ²  as a wife.

When the sun goes down he will be clean, and afterward he may eat from the holy offerings, because they are his food.

the priest must then examine it, ¹  and if ²  the disease covers his whole body, he is to pronounce the person with the infection clean. ³  He has turned all white, so he is clean. ⁴ 

and he is to purify ¹  the Most Holy Place, ²  he is to purify the Meeting Tent and the altar, ³  and he is to make atonement for ⁴  the priests and for all the people of the assembly.

The second bird ¹  he must make a burnt offering according to the standard regulation. ²  So the priest will make atonement ³  on behalf of this person for ⁴  his sin which he has committed, and he will be forgiven. ⁵ 

But whenever raw flesh appears in it ¹  he will be unclean,
