For this reason they could not believe,<n id="1" /> because again Isaiah said,p>

I have told you now before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe.<n id="1" />

All who believed were together and held<n id="1" /> everything in common,

More and more believers in the Lord were added to their number,<n id="1" /> crowds of both men and women.

This became known throughout all<n id="1" /> Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.<n id="2" />

On the contrary, we believe that we are saved through<n id="1" /> the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same way as they are.&#8221;<n id="2" />p>

Many of those who had believed came forward,<n id="1" /> confessing and making their deeds known.<n id="2" />

Actually, there are many advantages.<n id="1" /> First of all,<n id="2" /> the Jews<n id="3" /> were entrusted with the oracles of God.<n id="4" />

For Christ is the end of the law, with the result that there is righteousness for everyone who believes.p>

For the scripture says, &#8220;<b><i>Everyonei> <i>who believes in him will not be put to shamei>b>.&#8221;<n id="1" />

One person believes in eating everything, but the weak person eats only vegetables.

For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward. But if I do it unwillingly, I am entrusted with a responsibility.

It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.p>

Whether then it was I or they, this is the way we preach and this is the way you believed.p>
