You must obey my statutes and my regulations; you must be sure to keep them ¹  so that you may live securely in the land. ² 

Do not take interest or profit from him, ¹  but you must fear your God and your brother must live ²  with you.

He must be with you as a hired worker, as a resident foreigner; ¹  he must serve with you until the year of jubilee,

You must not pick your vineyard bare, ¹  and you must not gather up the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You must leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God.

Then the priest must put on his linen robe and must put linen leggings ¹  over his bare flesh, and he must take up the fatty ashes of the burnt offering that the fire consumed on the altar, ²  and he must place them ³  beside the altar.

You must keep my statutes. You must not allow two different kinds of your animals to breed, ¹  you must not sow your field with two different kinds of seed, and you must not wear ²  a garment made of two different kinds of fabric. ³ 

If a man presents a peace offering sacrifice to the Lord for a special votive offering ¹  or for a freewill offering from the herd or the flock, it must be flawless to be acceptable; ²  it must have no flaw. ³ 

If, however, the person who made the vow redeems the animal, ¹  he must add one fifth to ²  its conversion value.

“‘You must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to the Lord. Present it to the priest, ¹  and he will bring it to the altar.

You must not oppress your neighbor or commit robbery against him. ¹  You must not withhold ²  the wages of the hired laborer overnight until morning.

You must not curse a deaf person or put a stumbling block in front of a blind person. ¹  You must fear ²  your God; I am the Lord.

You must not hate your brother in your heart. You must surely reprove your fellow citizen so that you do not incur sin on account of him. ¹ 

You must not take vengeance or bear a grudge ¹  against the children of your people, but you must love your neighbor as yourself. ²  I am the Lord.

“‘You must count for yourselves seven weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day you bring the wave offering sheaf; they must be complete weeks. ¹ 

“Tell the Israelites, ‘You must not eat any fat of an ox, sheep, or goat.

You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations. ¹  I am the Lord.’”

They ¹  must not profane the holy offerings which the Israelites contribute ²  to the Lord, ³ 

You must not slaughter an ox or a sheep and its young ¹  on the same day. ² 

On the first day is a holy assembly; you must do no regular work. ¹ 

Then she will remain ¹  thirty-three days in blood purity. ²  She must not touch anything holy and she must not enter the sanctuary until the days of her purification are fulfilled. ³
