They made their lives bitter ¹  by ²  hard service with mortar and bricks and by all kinds of service ³  in the fields. Every kind of service the Israelites were required to give was rigorous. ⁴ 

So Moses stood at the entrance of the camp and said, “Whoever is for the Lord, come ¹  to me.” ²  All the Levites gathered around him,

And ¹  on the sixth day they gathered twice as much food, two omers ²  per person; ³  and all the leaders ⁴  of the community ⁵  came and told ⁶  Moses.

The pattern is to be ¹  a gold bell and a pomegranate, a gold bell and a pomegranate, all around the hem of the robe.

When Pharaoh stubbornly refused ¹  to release us, the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of people to the firstborn of animals. ²  That is why I am sacrificing ³  to the Lord the first male offspring of every womb, but all my firstborn sons I redeem.’

So Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person ¹  in whom the Lord has put skill ²  and ability ³  to know how ⁴  to do all the work for the service ⁵  of the sanctuary are to do the work ⁶  according to all that the Lord has commanded.”

It will become fine dust over the whole land of Egypt and will cause boils to break out and fester ¹  on both people and animals in all the land of Egypt.”

But the Lord will distinguish ¹  between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, and nothing ²  will die of all that the Israelites have.”’” ³ 

¹ It happened ²  at midnight – the Lord attacked all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the prison, and all the firstborn of the cattle.

Moreover, ¹  I have also given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and I have given ability to all the specially skilled, ²  that they may make ³  everything I have commanded you:

In the evening the quail ¹  came up and covered the camp, and in the morning a layer of dew was all around the camp.

¹ The Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron, ‘Extend your staff and strike the dust of the ground, and it will become ²  gnats ³  throughout all the land of Egypt.’”

Hail fell ¹  and fire mingled ²  with the hail; the hail was so severe ³  that there had not been any like it ⁴  in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.

Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a hand-drum in her hand, and all the women went out after her with hand-drums and with dances. ¹ 

You are to make its pots for the ashes, ¹  its shovels, its tossing bowls, ²  its meat hooks, and its fire pans – you are to make all ³  its utensils of bronze.

You are to put all these ¹  in Aaron’s hands ²  and in his sons’ hands, and you are to wave them as a wave offering ³  before the Lord.

But if you diligently obey him ¹  and do all that I command, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will be an adversary to your adversaries.

With it he made the bases for the door of the tent of meeting, the bronze altar, the bronze grating for it, and all the utensils of the altar,

Then you are to anoint the altar for the burnt offering with ¹  all its utensils; you are to sanctify the altar, and it will be the most holy altar.

The length of one curtain was forty-five feet, and the width of one curtain was six feet – one size for all eleven curtains.
