He must also take ¹  two male goats ²  from the congregation of the Israelites for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.

the person who touches any of these ¹  will be unclean until evening and must not eat from the holy offerings unless he has bathed his body in water.

He must not eat an animal that has died of natural causes ¹  or an animal torn by beasts and thus become unclean by it. I am the Lord.

“‘If a man eats a holy offering by mistake, ¹  he must add one fifth to it and give the holy offering to the priest. ² 

Finally, he set the turban ¹  on his head and attached the gold plate, the holy diadem, ²  to the front of the turban just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

Then Aaron’s sons presented the blood to him and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and the rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.

Then he must bathe his body in water in a holy place, put on his clothes, and go out and make his burnt offering and the people’s burnt offering. So he is to make atonement ¹  on behalf of himself and the people. ² 

or when a person swears an oath, speaking thoughtlessly ¹  with his lips, whether to do evil or to do good, with regard to anything which the individual might speak thoughtlessly in an oath, even if he did not realize it, but he himself has later come to know it and is guilty with regard to one of these oaths ²  –

“‘This is the law of the peace offering sacrifice which he ¹  is to present to the Lord.

Moreover, ¹  you are to tell the Israelites, ‘If any man curses his God ²  he will bear responsibility for his sin,

He must lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted for him to make atonement ¹  on his behalf.

the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys). ¹ 

Then he must present from it his offering as a gift to the Lord: the fat which covers the entrails and all the fat on the entrails, ¹ 

but the rest of the bull – its hide, its flesh, and its dung – he completely burned up ¹  outside the camp just as the Lord had commanded Moses. ² 

and he must wave the sheaf before the Lord to be accepted for your benefit ¹  – on the day after the Sabbath the priest is to wave it. ² 

If he presents it on account of thanksgiving, ¹  along with the thank offering sacrifice he must present unleavened loaves mixed with olive oil, unleavened wafers smeared with olive oil, ²  and well soaked ³  ring-shaped loaves made of choice wheat flour ⁴  mixed with olive oil.

If he is too poor to pay the conversion value, he must stand the person before the priest and the priest will establish his conversion value; ¹  according to what the man who made the vow can afford, ²  the priest will establish his conversion value.

then the individual is to shave himself, ¹  but he must not shave the area affected by the scall, ²  and the priest is to quarantine the person with the scall for another seven days. ³ 

So ¹  he is to make atonement for the holy place from the impurities of the Israelites and from their transgressions with regard to all their sins, ²  and thus he is to do for the Meeting Tent which resides with them in the midst of their impurities.

“‘If your brother ¹  becomes impoverished and is indebted to you, ²  you must support ³  him; he must live ⁴  with you like a foreign resident. ⁵
