The Word 1 was with God in the beginning.
For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts 1 were darkened.
Through him you now trust 1 in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
So it is with the one who stores up riches for himself, 1 but is not rich toward God.”
All 1 the people saw him walking and praising God,
for they heard them speaking in tongues and praising 1 God. Then Peter said,
You who boast in the law dishonor God by transgressing the law!
there is no one who understands, there is no one who seeks God.
For if Abraham was declared righteous 1 by the works of the law, he has something to boast about – but not before God.
So I boast 1 in Christ Jesus about the things that pertain to God.
For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.
