“‘On the fourteenth day of the first month is the Lord’s Passover.

The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab, from the tribe of Judah. ¹ 

And on the first day there is to be a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work ¹  on it.

They departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day ¹  after the Passover the Israelites went out defiantly ²  in plain sight ³  of all the Egyptians.

¹ The Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out ²  of the land of Egypt:

For Heshbon was the city of King Sihon of the Amorites. Now he had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken all of his land from his control, ¹  as far as the Arnon.
