For the Lord your God will bless you just as he has promised; you will lend to many nations but will not borrow from any, and you will rule over many nations but they will not rule over you.

Whirring locusts ¹  will take over every tree and all the produce of your soil.

So I must die here in this land; I will not cross the Jordan. But you are going over and will possess that ¹  good land.

Let me please cross over to see the good land on the other side of the Jordan River – this good hill country and the Lebanon!” ¹ 

the Lord our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, along with his sons ¹  and everyone else. ² 

and all the elders of that city nearest the corpse ¹  must wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley. ² 

The Lord your God will give them over to you; he will throw them into a great panic ¹  until they are destroyed.

The elders of his own city must send for him and remove him from there to deliver him over to the blood avenger ¹  to die.

As for the Lord your God, he is about to cross over before you; he will destroy these nations before you and dispossess them. As for Joshua, he is about to cross before you just as the Lord has said.

The Lord your God will deliver it over to you ¹  and you must kill every single male by the sword.

The foreigners ¹  who reside among you will become higher and higher over you and you will become lower and lower.

The Lord ¹  was king over Jeshurun, ²  when the leaders of the people assembled, the tribes of Israel together. ³ 

So I chose ¹  as your tribal leaders wise and well-known men, placing them over you as administrators of groups of thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens, and also as other tribal officials.

and he ¹  delivers them over to you and you attack them, you must utterly annihilate ²  them. Make no treaty ³  with them and show them no mercy!

Like an eagle that stirs up ¹  its nest, that hovers over its young, so the Lord ²  spread out his wings and took him, ³  he lifted him up on his pinions.

The Lord said to me, “Look! I have already begun to give over Sihon and his land to you. Start right now to take his land as your possession.”

The Lord your God will make the labor of your hands ¹  abundantly successful and multiply your children, ²  the offspring of your cattle, and the produce of your soil. For the Lord your God will once more ³  rejoice over you to make you prosperous ⁴  just as he rejoiced over your ancestors,

At that time I instructed you as follows: “The Lord your God has given you this land for your possession. You warriors are to cross over before your fellow Israelites ¹  equipped for battle.
