Mark 12:26-27

12:26 Now as for the dead being raised, ¹  have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, ²  how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the ³  God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? ⁴  12:27 He is not the God of the dead but of the living. ⁵  You are badly mistaken!”

Luke 20:37-38

20:37 But even Moses revealed that the dead are raised ⁶  in the passage about the bush, ⁷  where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. ⁸  20:38 Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, ⁹  for all live before him.” ¹⁰

[12:26]  ³ tn Grk “and the,” but καί (kai) has not been translated since English normally uses a coordinating conjunction only between the last two elements in a series of three or more.
