  1. Lihat bunda yang berduka di depan salib Sang Put'ra; air mata bergenang. O betapa jiwa ibu tersedu menanggung pilu, bagai ditembus pedang.	Luk 2:35
  2. Bunda Put'ra Tunggal Allah disebut "yang berbahagia" kini sangat bersedih. Hatinya dirundung duka, kar'na Put'ra yang termulia bersengsara di salib.	Luk 1:28, 42
  3. O siapa tidak pilu menyaksikan bunda Kristus menangisi Put'ranya? Dan siapa tak tergugah menyelami duka bunda Dalam siksa Anaknya?
  4. Dilihatnya Yesus, Put'ra, yang tersiksa dan terluka kar'na dosa umatNya dan bergumul sendirian menghadapi kematian menyerahkan nyawaNya.
  5. Wahai bunda, sumber kasih, biar turut kuhayati dukamu yang mencekam; biar hatiku bernyala mengasihi Put'ra Allah dan padaNya berkenan.
  6. Biarlah sengsara aib dari Dia yang tersalib tersemat di hatiku; yang ditanggungNya bagiku kudekap bersamamu.
  7. Biar aku disampingmu pilu kar'na wafat Kristus di sepanjang hidupku; inilah keinginanku: di dekat salib Put'ramu besertamu tersedu.
  8. O perawan yang terpilih, perkenankan aku ini ikut dikau bersedih; biar kematian Tuhan dan darahNya yang tercurah kukenangkan tak henti.
  9. Biar aku pun terluka, menghayati salib Tuhan, digerakkan kasihNya. Hatiku engkau kobarkan; biar aku dibebaskan dalam penghakimanNya.
  10. Biarlah salib Tuhanku jadi benteng naunganku dan kurasa rahmatNya. Bila nanti aku mati, biar aku mewarisi kemuliaan yang baka.

  ’Tis finished! so the Savior cried, And meekly bowed His head and died; ’Tis finished—yes, the race is run, The battle fought, the victory won. “’Tis finished—all that Heaven decreed, And all the ancient prophets said, Is now fulfilled, as was designed, In Me the Savior of mankind.” ’Tis finished—Heaven is reconciled, And all the powers of darkness spoiled. • [Joh 19:30] ’tis Finished! The Messiah Dies

  ’Tis finished! The Messiah dies, Cut off for sins, but not His own: Accomplished is the sacrifice, The great redeeming work is done. ’Tis finished! all the debt is paid; Justice divine is satisfied; The grand and full atonement made; God for a guilty world hath died. The veil is rent in Christ alone; The living way to Heaven is seen; The middle wall is broken down, And all mankind may enter in. The types and figures are fulfilled; Exacted is the legal pain; The precious promises are sealed; The spotless Lamb of God is slain. The reign of sin and death is o’er, And all may live from sin set free; Satan hath lost his mortal power; ’Tis swallowed up in victory. Saved from the legal curse I am, My Savior hangs on yonder tree: See there the meek, expiring Lamb! ’Tis finished! He expires for me. Accepted in the Well-beloved, And clothed in righteousness divine, I see the bar to heaven removed; And all Thy merits, Lord, are mine. Death, hell, and sin are now subdued; All grace is now to sinners given; And lo, I plead the atoning blood, And in Thy right I claim Thy Heaven!

  At the Lamb’s high feast we sing, Praise to our victorious King, Who hath washed us in the tide Flowing from his piercèd side; Praise we Him, whose love divine Gives His sacred blood for wine, Gives His body for the feast, Christ the Victim, Christ the Priest. Where the Paschal blood is poured, Death’s dark angel sheathes his sword; Israel’s hosts triumphant go Through the wave that drowns the foe. Praise we Christ, whose blood was shed, Paschal Victim, paschal Bread; With sincerity and love Eat we Manna from above. Mighty Victim from the sky, Hell’s fierce powers beneath Thee lie; Thou hast conquered in the fight, Thou hast brought us life and light; Now no more can death appall, Now no more the grave enthrall; Thou hast opened Paradise, And in Thee Thy saints shall rise. Paschal triumph, Easter joy, Only sin can this destroy; From sin’s death do Thou set free Souls reborn, O Lord, in Thee.
