(father of strength , i.e. strong).- Father of Kish, and consequently grandfather of Saul, (1Â Samuel 9:1) as well as of Abner, Saul?s commander-in-chief. (1Â Samuel 14:51) (B.C. 1093-1055.)
- One of David?s mighty men. (1Â Chronicles 11:32) In (2Â Samuel 23:31) he is called ABI-ALBON. (B.C. 1053.)
