METHUSHAEL [isbe]

METHUSHAEL - me-thu'-sha-el (methusha'el): A descendant of Cain, and father of Lamech in the Cainite genealogy (Gen 4:18). The meaning of the name is doubtful. Dillmann suggested "suppliant or man of God."
