READY - red'-i (]~mahir]): Occurs twice in the sense of apt, skillful (Ezr 7:6; Ps 45:1). the Revised Version (British and American) gives "ready" for "fit" (Prov 24:27), for "asketh" (Mic 7:3), for "prepared" (Mk 14:15), for "not be negligent" (2 Pet 1:12).
