SHARUHEN, a city in Simeon, Josh. 19:6.

SHARUHEN [smith]

(refuge of grace), a town named in (Joshua 19:6) only among those which were in Jadah to Simeon. It is identified with Sheriah a large ruin in the south country, northwest of Beersheba.

SHARUHEN [isbe]

SHARUHEN - sha-roo'-hen (sharuchen; hoi agroi auton): One of the cities in the territory of Judah assigned to Simeon (Josh 19:6). In Josh 15:32 it is called "Shilhim," and in 1 Ch 4:31, "Shaaraim" (which see).
