  A debtor to mercy alone, of covenant mercy I sing; Nor fear, with Thy righteousness on, my person and off’ring to bring. The terrors of law and of God with me can have nothing to do; My Savior’s obedience and blood hide all my transgressions from view. The work which His goodness began, the arm of His strength will complete; His promise is Yea and Amen, and never was forfeited yet. Things future, nor things that are now, nor all things below or above, Can make Him His purpose forgo, or sever my soul from His love. My name from the palms of His hands eternity will not erase; Impressed on His heart it remains, in marks of indelible grace. Yes, I to the end shall endure, as sure as the earnest is giv’n; More happy, but not more secure, the glorified spirits in Heav’n.

• [Phi 1:6] Lord God Of Hosts, Whose Purpose, Never Swerving

  Lord God of Hosts, whose purpose, never swerving, Leads toward the day of Jesus Christ Thy Son, Grant us to march among Thy faithful legions, Armed with Thy courage, till the world is won. Strong Son of God, whose work was His that sent Thee, One with the Father, thought and deed and word, One make us all, true comrades in Thy service, And make us one in Thee with God the Lord. O Prince of Peace, Thou Bringer of good tidings, Teach us to speak Thy word of hope and cheer, Rest for the soul, and strength for all man’s striving, Light for the path of life, and God brought near. Lord God, whose grace has called us to Thy service, How good Thy thoughts toward us, how great their sum! We work with Thee, we go where Thou wilt lead us, Until in all the earth Thy kingdom come.

Philippians 1:3-4

• [Phi 1:4] Christmas Brings Joy To Every Heart

  Christmas brings joy to every heart, Sets old and young rejoicing, What angels sang once to all on earth, Oh, hear the children voicing. Bright is the tree with lights aglow, Like birds that perch together, The child that holdeth Christmas dear Shall keep these joys forever. Joy comes to the all the world today, To halls and cottage hasting, Come, sparrow and dove, from roof tree tall, And share our Christmas feasting. Dance, little child, on mother’s knee, The lovely day is dawning, The road to paradise is found The blessèd Christmas morning. Once to this earth our Savior came, An infant poor and lowly, To open for us those gardens fair Where dwell His angels holy. Christmas joy He bringeth us, The Christ child King of heaven, “To every little child,” He saith, “Shall angel wings be given.”
