Tribal Chiefs of Edom

The tribal chiefs of Edom were:

Timna, Alvah, Jetheth, 1:52 Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon, 1:53 Kenaz, Teman, ¹  Mibzar, 1:54 Magdiel, Iram. ²  These were the tribal chiefs of Edom.

[1:54]  ² tn Each of the names in this list is preceded by the word “chief” in the Hebrew text. This has not been included in the translation because it would appear very redundant to the modern reader.
