Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel. They were skilled warriors, men of reputation, ⁴  and leaders of their families.

[2:31]  ¹ tn Heb “sons.” The Hebrew text has the plural “sons” in all three instances in this verse, even though the following lists have only one name each.

[4:20]  ² tn Or “and the son of Zoheth” (NAB). The word בֶּן (ben) in Hebrew means “son [of].”

[5:24]  ³ tn Heb “and these [were] the heads of the house of their fathers.”

[5:24]  ⁴ tn Heb “men of names.”
