Joab : son of Zeruiah, David's sister; commander of King David's army,son of Seraiah son of Kenaz of Judah; grand nephew of Caleb of Moses' time,a man whose descendants returned from exile in Babylon,ancestor of a family group who returned from exile headed by Obadiah the son of Jehiel

Zebadiah : son of Beriah of Benjamin,son of Elpaal of Benjamin,son of Jeroham of Gedor (Benjamin) who defected to David,son of Meshelemiah; a pre-exile Levite gatekeeper,son of Asahel, the brother of Joab,a Levite whom Jehoshaphat sent to teach the law around Judah,son of Ishmael; governor of the clan of Judah under Jehoshaphat,son of Michael who lead the Shephatiah clan back from exile,a priest of the Immer Clan who put away his heathen wife
