1 Chronicles 6:49

6:49 But Aaron and his descendants offered sacrifices on the altar for burnt offerings and on the altar for incense as they had been assigned to do in the most holy sanctuary. ¹  They made atonement for Israel, just as God’s servant Moses had ordered. ² 

1 Chronicles 22:19

22:19 Now seek the Lord your God wholeheartedly and with your entire being! ³  Get up and build the sanctuary of the Lord God! Then you can bring ⁴  the ark of the Lord’s covenant and the holy items dedicated to God’s service ⁵  into the temple that is built to honor the Lord.” ⁶

23:13 The sons of Amram:

Aaron and Moses.

Aaron and his descendants were chosen on a permanent basis to consecrate the most holy items, to offer sacrifices before the Lord, to serve him, and to praise his name. ⁷ 

1 Chronicles 23:28

23:28 Their job was to help Aaron’s descendants in the service of the Lord’s temple. They were to take care of the courtyards, the rooms, ceremonial purification of all holy items, and other jobs related to the service of God’s temple. ⁸
