[25:9]  1 tc Heb “The first lot went to Asaph, to Joseph.” Apparently the recurring formula, “and his sons and his relatives, twelve” has been accidentally omitted from the Hebrew text at this point (see vv. 10-31; the formula is slightly different in v. 9b). If the number “twelve” is not supplied here, the total comes to only 276, not the 288 required by v. 7.

[26:29]  1 tn The words “the temple” are supplied in the translation for clarification.

[6:49]  1 tn Heb “for all the work of the holy of holies.”

[6:49]  2 tn Heb “making atonement for Israel according to all which Moses the servant of God commanded.”

[10:7]  1 tn Heb “they”; the referent (the army) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

[23:13]  1 tn Heb “and Aaron was set apart to consecrate it, the most holy things, he and his sons, permanently, to sacrifice before the Lord, to serve him, and to bless his name permanently.”
