1 Corinthians 1:7

1:7 so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you wait for the revelation 1  of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Instead I am single-minded: 8  Forgetting the things that are behind and reaching out for the things that are ahead, 3:14 with this goal in mind, 9  I strive toward the prize of the upward call of God 10  in Christ Jesus.

[1:7]  1 sn The revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ refers to the Lord’s return, when he will be revealed (cf. the reference to the day of our Lord Jesus Christ in v. 8).

[3:2]  3 sn Dogs is a figurative reference to false teachers whom Paul regards as just as filthy as dogs.
