The Lord Gives Solomon Wisdom

3:1 Solomon made an alliance by marriage with Pharaoh, king of Egypt; he married Pharaoh’s daughter. He brought her to the City of David ³  until he could finish building his residence and the temple of the Lord and the wall around Jerusalem. ⁴

7:40 Hiram also made basins, shovels, and bowls. He ⁵  finished all the work on the Lord’s temple he had been assigned by King Solomon. ⁶

8:54 When Solomon finished presenting all these prayers and requests to the Lord, he got up from before the altar of the Lord where he had kneeled and spread out his hands toward the sky. ⁷ 

1 Kings 17:14
