1:9 Adonijah sacrificed sheep, cattle, and fattened steers at the Stone of Zoheleth near En Rogel. He invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, ¹  as well as all the men of Judah, the king’s servants.

1 Kings 21:13

21:13 The two villains arrived and sat opposite him. Then the villains testified against Naboth right before the people, saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they dragged him ²  outside the city and stoned him to death. ³ 

[1:9]  ¹ tc The ancient Greek version omits this appositional phrase.

[21:13]  ² tn Heb “led him.”

[21:13]  ³ tn Heb “and they stoned him with stones and he died.”
