1 Kings 11:10

11:10 and had warned him about this very thing, so that he would not follow other gods. ¹  But he did not obey ²  the Lord’s command.

1 Kings 14:9

14:9 You have sinned more than all who came before you. You went and angered me by making other gods, formed out of metal; you have completely disregarded me. ³ 

[11:10]  ¹ tn Heb “and had commanded him concerning this thing not to walk after other gods.”

[14:9]  ³ tn Heb “you went and you made for yourself other gods, metal [ones], angering me, and you threw me behind your back.”
