4:27 The district governors acquired supplies for King Solomon and all who ate in his royal palace. 1  Each was responsible for one month in the year; they made sure nothing was lacking.

[7:38]  2 tn Heb “forty baths” (a bath was a liquid measure roughly equivalent to six gallons).

[7:38]  3 tn Heb “four cubits, each basin.” It is unclear which dimension is being measured.

[18:13]  3 tn Heb “Has it not been told to my master what I did…?” The rhetorical question expects an answer, “Of course it has!”
