5:15 Solomon also had 70,000 common laborers ¹  and 80,000 stonecutters ²  in the hills,

1 Kings 9:27

9:27 Hiram sent his fleet and some of his sailors, who were well acquainted with the sea, to serve with Solomon’s men. ³ 

[5:15]  ¹ tn Heb “carriers of loads.”

[5:15]  ² tn Heb “cutters” (probably of stones).

[9:27]  ³ tn Heb “and Hiram sent with the fleet his servants, men of ships, [who] know the sea, [to be] with the servants of Solomon.”
