1 Kings 5:5

5:5 So I have decided ¹  to build a temple to honor the Lord ²  my God, as the Lord instructed my father David, ‘Your son, whom I will put on your throne in your place, is the one who will build a temple to honor me.’ ³ 

1 Kings 9:7

9:7 then I will remove Israel from the land ⁴  I have given them, I will abandon this temple I have consecrated with my presence, ⁵  and Israel will be mocked and ridiculed ⁶  among all the nations.
