1 Kings 6:12

6:12 “As for this temple you are building, if you follow ¹  my rules, observe ²  my regulations, and obey all my commandments, ³  I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father David. ⁴ 

1 Kings 9:4

9:4 You must serve me with integrity and sincerity, just as your father David did. Do everything I commanded and obey my rules and regulations. ⁵ 

1 Kings 11:34

11:34 I will not take the whole kingdom from his hand. I will allow him to be ruler for the rest of his life for the sake of my chosen servant David who kept my commandments and rules.

1 Kings 15:5

15:5 He did this ⁶  because David had done what he approved ⁷  and had not disregarded any of his commandments ⁸  his entire lifetime, except for the incident involving Uriah the Hittite.
