1 Kings 11:20
Context11:20 Tahpenes’ sister gave birth to his son, 3 named Genubath. Tahpenes raised 4 him in Pharaoh’s palace; Genubath grew up in Pharaoh’s palace among Pharaoh’s sons.

[6:27] 1 tn Heb “in the midst of the inner house,” i.e., in the inner sanctuary.
[6:27] 2 tn Heb “and their wings were in the middle of the room, touching wing to wing.”
[11:20] 3 tn Heb “bore him Genubath his son.”
[11:20] 4 tc The Hebrew text reads וַתִּגְמְלֵהוּ (vattigmÿlehu, “weaned him”) but a slight alteration of the consonantal text yields וַתִּגְדְלֵהוּ (vattigdÿlehu, “raised him”), which seems to make better sense.
